We founded Tranquil Images Inc. in order to share many of the quiet and serene moments we have experienced. We have been fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest for many years. Tranquil Images Inc. is located in Anacortes. Anacortes is an original fishing and logging harbor on Fidalgo Island in the Northwest corner of the State of Washington. It resides on Puget Sound, a major inlet to the Pacific Ocean. It also is a ferry and boating port for the San Juan Islands, Vancouver Island - British Columbia, the Canadian Gulf Islands, and the Inside Passage through British Columbia to Alaska. The Cascade Mountains rise fifty miles to the east. The fertile Skagit valley stretches between the mountains and Puget Sound. The valley was originally settled by Dutch immigrants, who shared their bulbs and expertise from their native country. The result is a beautiful and colorful display of daffodils and tulip fields, each spring drawing visitors from afar.

We like to boat, hike and travel which has enabled us to enjoy the many treasures of nature around us and other places. We would like to take this opportunity to share a few sights we have seen and recorded. May these images bring you the tranquility that we have experienced - enjoy.
